Behind the Blog

I am many things, but nothing without God. I have always been a believer, but fell away from Him. Back on track now, it is a journey with peace, but also with pain.  But strongholds are being broken and I am being set free.
Aside from my journey with the Lord- who am I? And why else is this blog here? Here's a little more about me, if you must know.
I love. End of sentence. It's what I am good at. Some people are good at math, some people are good at cooking, I am good at loving. I love with a deep love, an unconditional love. I'll do anything for those I care for.  I'm there for the long run, and I will go to the ends of the earth. It's how I am- it's how I love. I just...love.
I am thankful, I appreciate the small things- so often we underestimate the power of the small things, those things are so often the things that really matter. I don't want to take them for granted.
I try my best, but don't usually feel like I add up, that's okay though. I know at the end of the day, I always have wonderful family and friends that love me.
I live and love the country life. My horse, is my favorite. His name is Chance, and the spunky 1,200 pound five year old is very important to me. I love cookouts and bonfires. A day outside is a day well spent. My four-wheeler is where I do a lot of thinking, and when the riding is done, it sits in the four-wheeler mass and I join the rest for some good around the fire bonding. I am not afraid of mud, and not afraid to get dirty. I actually prefer it most times. Mud or horse grime, just depends on the day.
I teach. I am responsible to nurture and grow children everyday.  It's very rewarding to work with these young and wonderful souls each day. Although sometimes, it isn't easy. I start with loving them and go from there. I know that if they leave me feeling like I care each and every day, I have done my job.
There are many more things about me that I could share, but I think I covered what I need to. I'll let my posts share the rest.
Thanks for reading, thanks for visiting!
